Mike MacLean wrote the hit Syfy movie Sharktopus, starring Eric Roberts and produced by the legendary Roger Corman.  In addition, Mike co-wrote Dinocroc vs. Supergator, featuring the late great David Carradine.  His latest script, Piranhaconda, is currently in production, starring another Kill Bill alumnus, Michael Madsen.

Mike’s crime fiction has bloodied the pages of numerous anthologies, magazines, and websites, including The Best American Mystery Stories, The Deadly Bride, Thuglit: Hardcore Hardboiled, and Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine.

A teacher of America’s youth, Mike lives in Tempe, Arizona with his beautiful wife and daughter and two lazy dogs.  When not writing or teaching, Mike studies Ja-Shin-Do and watches way too many violent movies.
